"We got one last chance to make it real, to trade in these wings on some wheels" - "Thunder Road"
36 years ago today, Born To Run, the third album by then 25-year-old singer-songwriter Bruce Springsteen, was released by Columbia Records.
The album would be a watershed moment for Springsteen and fans in many ways. For Springsteen and the E Street Band this was the album that solidified the group for the next three-and-a-half decades. For fans it's the album that connects everybody across generations - a best of a career type LP.
