Jacoby Arts Center Benefit this Friday, May 9, 2014.
This Friday, May 9th, there will be a benefit concert to help raise funds for the struggling Jacoby Arts Center in Alton, IL. Drew Mader, drummer of the Alton based band Hope & Therapy, has done a great job organizing the event. I asked Drew to comment on the state of the JAC and why it is important to help keep the space open for the Alton community. Here is what he had to say:

Doors open at 7pm, Music starts at 7:20pm and goes until 12:30am

$20 suggested donation gains attendees access to free samples from Ridgebrook Brewery and entry into a giveaway raffle that includes Cardinal baseball tickets, and gift certificates to Bossanova, Princivalli's, Gato Negro Tattoo, Hair Jazz, Hazel2Blue, Slackers CDs & Games, and more!
No one will be turned away at the door, but donations of less than $20 will simply have access to live music and cash bar, without the perks of free beer samples and the possibility of winning door prizes.
Cash bar available to those 21 and older including Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Boulevard Single Wide IPA, Blue Moon Spring Blond Wheat Ale, assorted domestic beers, and red and white wine.
