A bit of a step up from their humble roots, Los Angeles based band Funeral Party brought their sound back to their home turf of Southern California playing the Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank for television cameras of Conan last night.
If you haven't done so already see the 3 Minute Record review of the band's album The Golden Age of Knowhere or for further sights and sounds check out more videos of the band here. Touring for the majority of 2011, the band opened for The Deftones and Dillinger Escape Plan at The Pageant earlier this year in what will go down as the loudest show I've seen all year. Now, they make the trip across the expansive blue of the Pacific Ocean to Australia and ended a short overseas jaunt in the U.K. and France.
Direct from the fine people at TeamCoco to you, our readers, here's the band's live performance of their latest single "New York City (Moves to the Sound of LA)."
Kudos to the band for kicking it live instead of resorting to a lip synced track. As you can see no autotune machines were harmed in the making of this video. Thanks to Susannah at TeamCoco for providing the link.
