Dangermuffin to spread their sweet jam tonight at The Gramophone [Preview]
Referring to themselves as "Sand-blasted roots rock with a sweet jam spread," the band broke onto the national scene last year upon the release of their third album Moonscapes by playing across the United States including many appearances at festivals.
Dangermuffin looks back to the roots of popular music while pushing forward down their own unique path. Their music mashes up ingredients drawn from the various genres of folk, rock, Americana, country, reggae and bluegrass into an entertaining musical concoction. Not many groups can fit into so many genres, however, upon listening to their music each of these varying elements pushes forward into the mix. Fans of the jam band scene will find the group appealing as will those who just like good grooves.
